It is absolutely pathetic that Taiwan has become a Nation where people make non constructive criticisms with no substantial proof to back up their arguments. In every decision the president has had to make that didn't satisfy all (which was like all decisions), there would be people complaining from their perspectives. But remember, he has to weigh ALL perspectives and make decisions that he thinks benefit the country more. If you don't agree with him, or that he has not been helpful in ways you prefer, just don't vote for him the next time! What does his daughter have to do with any of this?! One's personality and where his value lies are revealed through looking at how his children are raised. I have never seen any first family child who can remain in such low profile and wants nothing to do with the power and the fame nor help from his very influential father as both his daughters have shown. Despite what world politics and bad economy that drove him to this corner where he has little support, he is still a respectful man. Much much more than those of you who use profanity and speak ill of others. Pray for the first family to walk forever in the righteous path of the Lord, and be blessed.

and came across the lyrics of this song the author included at the end of a chapter
It's rather sad, but it reminds us to cherish every moment we have right now with our daughter
The book is very well written. Overwhelming, in fact.
